Here they are, the pictures and update I have been promising you.
We all have had a great week so far, not to many fish but we are thankful for the ones we've gotten. My Aunt and Uncle left yesterday so today my Dad took the boat out and hopefully tomorrow and Saturday we will be out there on the river catching our limit!

One of the first crews I went out with! From left to right; Me, cousin Joanna, Uncle Ray, Annie and cousin Sam.
Emmali was the first one to catch a fish- the first time I went out. I don't know how she does it! She has a knack for catching fish! ; )
Next Joanna- All grins with first fish! Well, any fish you catch you seem to catch the grins with it.
My first fish. Oh so happy!
Then, yep you guessed it! Emmali caught another one. It was a big boy!
Finally Ashly caught one. It was a beauty!
I went and caught myself another one!
So far those are the only two I have caught. Hopefully I will catch some more tomorrow and Saturday.
Well, by the end of the first day (I just showed you), Emmali, Joanna and Ashly all caught their limit; which is 4 fish a day. Sadly my Uncle didn't catch any, but the next day he did!

Staying warm and safe with a couple of life jackets and Sam's big sweatshirt!
Yay Sam! His first fish!
Sam showing Annie how to hold the fish....
Annie holding her first fish!
(I like to make sure that they are all they way dead when I hold them. So the don't wiggle.)

Who's da man with da fish? That's Brad (my older brother) with his first fish.
When the day's over the work doesn't stop! They have too fillet all the fish. Which is basically cutting all the meat, very nicely, off the back bone. Then they bring the meat inside where we wash it, pat it dry a little, put them in bags, vacuum pack them and last, put the date on them!
And.......................................................DONE!
Off to bed, and then start it all again tomorrow! But, this is only every two years. So it's fun to hang out with everyone and catch lots of fish. Our total for that day was 21 fish. Which isn't that bad, it's actually pretty good.

Here we are after fishing all day. Some of us were on the boat for about 8 hours. We were in between batches of fish, which we were getting ready to out in the freezer and it was about 10:00.
Well, that is what I have been up to! Thanks for Checking in!
